Outdoor Pools

CHLORENERGY® is cultivated in outdoor facilities. Only direct sunlight enables the algae to develop their exceptionally high chlorophyll content. The basins are filled with water to a maximum depth of 15 cm. This ensures that sunlight can penetrate to the bottom of the basin. The huge stirring arms serve to optimally mix and oxygenate the algae culture. The algae remain in the outdoor water basins for approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

Daily washing

Twice a day, the entire contents of the pool are drained and passed through special centrifuges. This process carefully separates the Chlorenergy algae from the water. After rinsing, the now highly concentrated algae are returned to the pool together with new fresh water.

From Harvest to Shipment

The entire process, from the start of cultivation to harvesting and final processing, takes approximately 3 to 4 months. After harvesting, the algae are first heated and then cooled for gentle sterilisation. The temperature always remains below the limit that is harmful to vitamins. The complex, patented spray drying process then produces an algae powder in which all vitamins and minerals remain completely bioavailable.

Pressing & packaging

The loose CHLORENERGY powder is now pressed into small tablets. This is done exclusively by applying high pressure without the addition of any additives. In the final step, the tablets are packaged in coated aluminium bags – airtight and protected from light in units of 300 pieces.
